The International Journal of Responsible Machine Learning (IJRML)
is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research at the intersection of
machine learning, ethics, transparency, and social impact. Founded in 2025, IJRML provides a global forum for
the publication of high-quality, original research that promotes fairness, accountability, interpretability,
and sustainability in the development and deployment of machine learning systems.
IJRML is committed to rigorous yet efficient peer review processes, ensuring that innovative and responsible
research reaches the community in a timely manner. Final versions of accepted papers are published
electronically (ISSN [to be assigned]) and made freely available online under an open-access licence.
In keeping with our mission, IJRML does not charge readers or institutions for access to content.
The journal is currently applying for accreditation by the
South African Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) and inclusion in major international
indices such as SCOPUS and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). These efforts are aimed
at improving the visibility, credibility, and academic impact of the research we publish. Print-on-demand
copies and archival volumes may be made available through partner distributors
